  • Your...lost Money...Owed Money  By : Izie Monet
Is it true that people really do get or find their missing money or money owed to them from years past?

The answer is simply : YES !

Here are a few examples to illustrate what I am talking about:

From writer Elizabeth Crisp at the comes an incredible tale of one person that had suffered a tragedy and then like a miracle found nearly $25,000.00 she knew nothing about.

Pamela Wilkinson of Gulfport was working three jobs when she found out she was owed money.

Wilkinson lost everything in Hurricane Katrina in 2005, but three weeks ago she received a check for $24,203 that she didn't know belonged to her.

"I'm still just in shock," she said.

As with Wilkinson's windfall, there's more than $40 million waiting to be claimed by Mississippians.

The Web has made it even easier for Mississippians to find forgotten money. Residents can simply type in their names and instantly see whether they are owed.

Another fantastic story I found at the The Daily Oklahoman:

As a young, married couple living in Kansas, Ora and Sharon Yoder emptied their savings account to pour $2,000 into a "sure-thing" investment that didn't pan out.

More than three decades later, the couple -- now approaching retirement in Kingfisher -- have recovered most of the money they'd written off, long ago, as the price of a lesson learned. They received an initial repayment of $650 five years ago and a final check for $750 in October.

And here is yet another story about finding unexpected and unclaimed money:

In North Carolina the Treasurer's office is overseeing the guarding of over $500 million in unclaimed money.

To Mr. Isley's surprise he was told that the state of North Carolina was holding about $3,650.00 of his money. The money was from a car sale transaction 10 years earlier that had been misplaced.

These are just three examples of the of the millions of transactions that occur every year reuniting people just like you with their unclaimed or missing money.

According to today's numbers it is estimated that 9 out of every 10 Americans is owed money by either the Feds or one of the 50 States.

The current recession has created extremely difficult times for millions of our fellow citizens. It's possible that you may have been touched by this recession as well. Take a little of your time to try a missing money search (it is easy and very very cheap to do). It could be that you are the next person to get a check for $50.00 or maybe even $5000.00 or more!

What would it mean to you if you did find some money
