advertise loudHave you ever Googled your own name? Checking how you are being portrayed out there on the internet is probably almost as important as checking your credit score.  We all know about identify theft, but how many of us think about what is out there on the web about us?

We all know how easy it is to put information out the internet.  There are plenty of sites that don’t care what you write and there is no one there to stop you from writing whatever you want about whoever you want.

We also know how events are often portrayed in the news which is then transferred to the internet.  Everyone loves as juicy story. If it later turns out to be false, that fact is buried if it is even published in the first place.  If your name is somehow out there associated with that story, it is out there in cyberspace for all eternity.

They start putting false information out there.  The next thing you know, you are going for a job interview and your prospective employer decides to do his own informal background check and there you are, on the first page, with some story about you being drunk, being arrested, being a cheat—whatever the case may be—and none of it is true. No matter how much you try to explain, the damage has been done. Continue reading »

mlm moneyAsk some of the more successful MLM marketers and they will tell you that the key factor in networking MLM is simplicity.

Networking MLM is a very simple business. But keeping it simple does not mean that hard work is not involved. One of the common mistakes is that people try to make it complicated.

Even if a complex system achieved great results for you, others will find it difficult to copy. In networking MLM, personal success is not your greatest asset.

Your greatest asset is having a system that guarantees the success of everyone using it. The success of others, and your success, is dependant upon their ability to do the same things you do. Keep the least experienced of those in your network in mind when you set up a system of doing things for your organization to follow.

Everything you do must be simple enough so that everyone can quickly duplicate your efforts and achieve the same phenomenal results as you.

In MLM networking, you should not do things that require special skills, resources which are available only to you or to a limited number of people. Open up your business to a much larger pool of people who can become successful. You need to build your network as quickly as possible. You can only meet with a few people each day and can personally close even fewer sales. Continue reading »

happy smiling cash faceWhy do 97% of people who try to make a living 9or a fortune) with Network Marketing or MLM fail miserably? The answer to this question is so simple, but we’ll get to that.

The problem is NOT entirely the network marketing industry, but, to a great extent, failure occurs because of the mindset of the people getting involved in network marketing and affiliate marketing. Most people have had little success in other areas of life. When they get involved with a network marketing business they already have a pre-established notion that they will fail, even if they are not consciously aware of it.

There are 6 attitudes or reasons that should be considered when trying to build a successful network marketing business. Here are 6 potholes in the road to success in network and affiliate marketing: Continue reading »

Millions of network marketers around the globe are facing many of the same problems when trying to build their businesses. Over my 10 years of experience in the industry, I have seen and experienced these challenges and have narrowed them down to 5 main issues:

1- Leads. The #1 challenge networkers face is lead generation. Finding new people on a consistent basis that you can expose your business to is crucial. Most people do not expose their business to enough quality people on a daily basis to get the results that they need.
2-Follow up is the next problem area. When the home business owner does expose his/her business to people, they do not always follow up effectively. They either do not follow up at all, or they don’t follow up consistently enough to get results.

picture of a man handing out a lot of cashMulti-level marketing, also known as MLM, is one of the most popular ways to set up a business model in an easy manner for you to operate as a business you can do during your free time. There are lots of companies now operating reselling businesses for their affiliates, and netMLM, otherwise known as internet MLM, is the most prevalent mode present nowadays. But how does it work exactly? And how can it generate enough income to actually help supplement the family budget?

How this system works

NetMLM can be used to your advantage if you want to sell items online and market them to your friends, and let them do the selling for and with you as well, so that you can earn off what they’re getting from their efforts. It’s really that simple. Not only do you get money from your own efforts at selling, you also get profit from what the members that have joined under you are selling. With enough people under you as members below your marketing level, you can exponentially increase your earning power with every new person added. Continue reading »

mythbustersOne of the mythbusters in the world of network marketing and sales is that you don’t have to have the ability to talk well. It’s not true that you have to have the ‘gift of the gab’ or be able to sell ‘snow to Eskimos’.

As a young man I was a salesman for a while. I hated it.

I had topped my class in the art of salesmanship and needed to get away from accountancy. I had learned how to look for buying signals, overcome objections and make the best use of customer emotions.

Yet still I hated it. I hated calling on customers, new or old. I always felt that I was on the back foot, never in control.

Then one day I had to see some people who had a complaint about our service department. No way out of it - I had to go. Continue reading »

network marketing symbolsNetworking is obviously an essential part of network marketing. Every successful network marketer knows this to be true. Although networking is such an intricate part of network marketing, the two terms are not synonymous. However there are many similarities. Both rely heavily on people skills. Both require people to confront their fear of talking to other people. Both carry with them the risk of rejection. Both also carry with them enormous opportunity. And to some people, both are considered dirty words.

Of course people that consider networking as something that is ‘not done’ don’t understand what networking is really about. The same can be said of people that think network marketing is something that is beneath them. Too many people think that networking is a way to get connected solely for their own advancement in life. In that respect a person might feel that it is unethical or not noble to network. This line of thinking stems from the idea that advancement will always come at the expense of someone else, that success in life is a zero-sum game. These people often look at network marketing from the same perspective. They think of profiting from other people’s efforts as something that is negative and not fair to them. In reality, successful networkers will tell you that it doesn’t work that way at all. Networking doesn’t have to be at anybody’s expense and the business of network marketing doesn’t reward anyone for taking advantage of others. It actually rewards people for helping other people to succeed. In that respect it may very well be the most ethical business model in the world today. Continue reading »
