In other countries it can be used as a head accessory, while in some countries it can be used as a neck accessory. However, tying it around the neck like a necktie is the most common use of pashmina almost anywhere in the country. The most common type of pashmina that are tied around the neck is the pashmina scarf. This is a small size of pashmina that is commonly popular for its use. Pashmina scarf can be either used as an accessory or for its use, which is to provide warmth.

Pashmina silk can be used in formal attire and can vary in different monotone colors. It can as well be used to accessorize casual outfits for everyday use. The difference between a pashmina scarf and a pashmina shawl, besides its size is the variance of its colors. Pashmina scarves tend to be colorful at times and can have different designs embroidered in them, while pashmina shawls only have one tone. Pashminas are mostly used during the winter season, when the weather is colder.

There are some people that use pashmina even after winter, which in some cases during summer as an accessory. One of the reasons that make pashmina so popular is because of its flexibility, a person can use it anytime of the day, and anywhere he/she goes. Pashminas are very affordable, unless of course it is a pure pashmina that is made of cashmere, it can be bought online and at any fashion stores around the country. However, there is one type of pashmina that can be a bit expensive from the regular pashmina scarf or shawl. This type is the embroidered pashmina.

What makes it a little bit expensive is because of how it is being made. Pashmina shawls are being hand woven and adding embroidery to it is a little bit of effort added when making pashmina. Embroideries that are being applied are of course hand made as well, since pashmina are to be treated very delicate because of its thinness. Since embroidery can be a very tedious process, it is usually done manually instead of using machines for labor. Every designs of an embroidered pashmina are being done intricately, plus every design in each pashmina is different, which makes them very unique.

Cashmere pashmina shawl are a very popular type of pashmina in India. It is made from the wool of a cashmere goat, which is very soft. Cashmere pashmina shawl are usually the most preferred type of pashmina because of its comfort ability, it is lightweight and at the same time its warmness. A pashmina that is made of cashmere fabric can be an alternative to jackets. Pashmina as a headgear can be used during a bad hair day. This is a great idea for those people who are always on the go and does not have time to blow dry and style their hair.
