Worldwide healthy smoothies are becoming more and more popular because of their versatility. Life these days is so incredibly demanding and we all require loads of energy from dawn until dusk. This has helped the general public realise how important healthy eating really is.

A great time of day for a smoothie is in your lunch break when you have to get to an appointment or perhaps do some shopping and of course we all have to eat!
Why not try this:
1 cup mango juice
1 tblsp orange juice
1 tsp honey
1 baby beetroot
Slice your beetroot and carrot and blend with other ingredients.
Ice is optional, so mix this in if desired
The color of this smoothie is terrific and the taste amazing!
It will only take you about 5 minutes to prepare, it will be filling and totally satisfying, you will be energized and you will still get to that appointment!
If you keep heaps of fruit in the freezer you will never be stuck for a recipe combination.
This is also good on the budget conscious as you will no longer be throwing out bits and pieces that are looking a little too ripe.
Slice the fruit into chunks and separate on a freezer tray. Place the frozen pieces in containers and your done. This way you will be able to take out exactly what you need for your healthy smoothie, therefore eliminating any waste.
Another thing to note is that the frozen fruit, once blended with milk or yoghurt develops into a very rich and creamy drink. This is marvelous for the sweet tooth and it won't do your weight any harm either!
