advertising moneyGetting a flood of advertisers is a dream of any owner of a publisher website. But creating a flood of advertisers is not a breeze. Many people have a misconception that if the publisher site has good amount of organic traffic, advertisers will swarm towards them and bid for the keywords. The true fact is that the advertisers will not even notice you if you are not within their reach. This is where the search engine traffic monetizing service providers come into play. This is like a platform for the advertisers and publishers, where the best will be meeting the best. Targeted traffic is what the advertisers will be looking for and targeted advertisers will be what the publishers will be there for. Hence these platforms are the best ones for the publishers hunting for the advertisers.

Getting The Maximum Advertising Revenue

There are countless numbers of search engine traffic monetizing services available out there. You will be well aware that they will be claiming some percentage of your advertising revenue that comes through them. The percentage of deduction depends on the service provider. Some of the very best search engine traffic monetizing service providers like Query Ads will provide the maximum advertising revenue to you. They deduct only 20% of the advertising revenue flowing to your website through them. They actually deserve more than 20% because you will get the best targeted advertisements listed in your website. The best search engine traffic monetizing service providers will manually check and ensure that the ads are targeted before they supply them to you. So you should compare several service providers and make sure that you get the maximum advertising revenue without any compromise to the quality of ads. Continue reading »

twitter logoOne of the hottest topics in the internet marketing world today is Twitter. There are an endless number of tools and applications for Twitter. And countless reports on how to best use Twitter in your online business. Having Twitter followers is like having a sub-list. And, since “the money is in the list,” it’s worth your time to think about how you use Twitter and what kind of people you follow on Twitter.

Until very recently, I didn’t reach out and follow people on Twitter at all. I just followed people I knew. Then I got introduced to Mr. Tweet, and “he” recommended some great people to me. Now almost daily I find great new people to follow.

I basically follow four types of people on Twitter. First, there are those whose posts always make me smile. I like these people, even though I don’t know them outside of Twitter.

Second are those whose posts always give me something valuable or interesting. Usually they link to a blog post or news article.

The third type of person I follow is those who seem to run entire businesses on Twitter. They communicate with everyone. They tweet so often there’s no way they could have time to run a business outside their Twitter connections. Continue reading »

web 2.0As Web 2.0 becomes less of just a buzzword and more of a reality, the types of sites webmasters need to publish will increasingly become more important. In other words, mini-sites are slowly dying and cookie-cutter article sites are on the way out as well. Web surfers will become more value-focused and web companies will become larger.
Over the next few years expect larger conglomerates to be buying up profitable websites in their chosen markets. Expect smaller sites to either be bought or driven out of business. My intention is not to scare you, but this outcome is inevitable.
Large businesses have always taken two approaches to their desired markets. They either buy their competition or they push them out of business. You want to be prepared when this trend begins on the Internet.
Being a webmaster and online marketer, you should be preparing for one of two scenarios. To position yourself for a buyout to a larger company or to become the larger company that dominates your chosen market.
Whichever route you choose is entirely up to you, but I would suggest that it would be in your best interest to begin focusing on authority sites. You can either start building them or turning your current sites into them. Whatever your approach may be, I assure you it will help you sleep better at night. Continue reading »

submit an articleWhen you started your website, you might have thought, “Oh no, I need to have some sort of SEO knowledge to getting a higher rank in Google and get more visitors to my site.”

That’s what many website owners think, but rest easy–you do not need to be a SEO guru to effectively market your website. Any ‘regular’ person who owns a website can propel their site up Google’s rankings by using Article Marketing as their main marketing tool.

Article submissions are easy to do–all you have to do is write articles on the topic of your website and submit them consistently each month for an extended period of time. With each article you submit, you build a backlink to your site, and on top of that you receive an additional link each time a publisher republishes your article from an article directory.

By consistently submitting articles, you are basically setting up a link building machine for your website. An increase in links can garner your site a higher search engine ranking, and an increased search engine ranking for your major keywords can of course build traffic dramatically for the long-term.

internet marketing toolsOnline reputation management, or brand reputation monitoring as it is often also referred to, is the result of the popularity of online media and ease of public accessibility, coupled with the rise of integrated and interconnected Web 2.0 systems.

Suddenly the Internet is more functional and easier to use than ever before. There’s been a dramatic shift in focus from traditional print and broadcast media which simply aren’t as three-dimensional, interactive and convenient as the Web.

Today’s consumers are encouraged to create and share their opinions online for free – a function not normally associated with conventional media. This allows for more consumer consciousness, freedom and advocacy - providing a soapbox for consumers to express their opinions.

Good or bad, sometimes these user viewpoints go unnoticed, but a lot of the time they are the active, uncontrolled voices of the authoritative members of the online public.

There’s no need to fret. By following a few simple tips towards setting up your reputation management tools, you’ll soon beware of any buzz about your brand and building your Google CV all the while. Continue reading »

Business HandshakeThousands of businesses are started everyday around the world. Some are successful, earning an income for their owners. And some are VERY successful, catapulting their owners to a life of affluence and leisure. But the simple fact is that most new businesses fail.

What is the key ingredient of ALL really successful businesses? Why does one local hamburger joint remain just that - a LOCAL hamburger joint with one or two stores, when another hamburger store turns into McDonald’s? Why does one local carpenter spend his life replacing shingles and siding, when the carpenter next door turns his business into a huge construction company, employing hundreds of construction workers and building 600 homes every year?

What do all SUCCESSFUL businesses have in common? I can answer that in one word: SYSTEMS! Continue reading »

Here we go again!

social mediaAnother year and another great possibility! With the election of Obama to the presidency, there is Hope and all are looking for a great future.

But I am sitting here thinking of all the folks in social Media that are going to be frustrated again in their social Media marketing efforts. wondering why they are not getting the traction or friends that they thought they should. And the main reason is that they continue to make the same mistakes  in Social Media as last year.

Are YOU going to do that- I sure hope not. You may not have the power of a Robert Scoble, or the personality of a Gary Vanyerchuck, or the mind of a Chris Brogan, or the networking focus of a Mari Smith or Coach Deb micek. Or even the amazing writing talent of a Scott Monty.

At least not yet.

But you CAN accelerate your Social Media Success this year by avoiding these top 10 mistakes made by people in Social media in 2009.

Ok…what are they? Continue reading »

MSN logoI love the fact that ninety five percent of Internet marketers are targeting Google like crazy because it leaves MSN wide open for me. And it really is crazy when you think about it. MSN gets about twenty to twenty five percent of the traffic Google does, and most of that is from credit card carrying adults who are ready to buy. Think about it this way; if you could be number one on Google one full week of every month, what would that be worth to you? That’s what MSN is worth, at the very least.

Why am I so hooked on MSN? It’s the simplest search engine to dominate rankings on. I use one amazingly simple formula and hit the top three spots nine out of ten times.  Really!

Here’s the formula, step by step:

Step 1: Target just one keyword per Website (don’t worry it’s just a one page Website anyway.) And don’t even bother with long tail keywords. Go for the ones that are impossible on Google. This formula nails them on MSN.

Step 1a: If you want to see exactly how much traffic potential each keyword has on MSN you can use their keyword tool at https://adcenter.microsoft.com/Research/KeywordResearcher.aspx. Unfortunately you need to be an AdCenter member to access it. But on the plus side, it only costs five dollars to join up. Clicking the above link will redirect you to the signup page if you are not a member. Continue reading »
