web trafficWebsite traffic is monitored through various tools. Many of the best tools are free, but the results may need some interpretation. There are many companies that provide services that monitor and analyze website traffic. There are also ways for website owners to learn to perform this service themselves.

It may take a while to learn, but it is a worthy investment, especially if a website owner is serious about growing the traffic to his or her site. There are many reasons to analyze website traffic. One of the biggest reasons is that it gives site owners a way to monitor the effectiveness of their site. If, for example, a website is registering 3,000 hits during a two-day span, it sounds like the website is doing reasonably well.

On closer examination, however, the owner sees that the visitors are only staying a minute, and are not looking at the other content on the site. Now, the owner can try to solve the problem, and find ways to encourage the visitors to stay longer. Increasing website traffic takes time, luck, and skill. For any one topic, there may be a million or more web pages devoted to it. In order to get traffic to one particular site, the owner needs to know how to get his or her content noticed.

Website traffic is no different, you must continue to offer some great giveaways and more information for your visitors. This will make it easier for contacting them and telling them about more of your special offers. As you see, the sources for free web traffic are many and they can become valid contributions to your online business prosperity, if you are willing to pay the price of work, time and dedication.

Website traffic is by using a traffic exchange. Submit it to a few article directories, and you’ll get some readers. If they like it, some will even take it and use it on their websites, creating valuable one-way links. Meanwhile, some readers will like it enough to want more, and they’ll click that link in your resource or “about the author” box at the end of the article.

Website traffic is to register your website with the major search engines. But all your efforts can go in vain if the content of your website is not fully optimized. We provide you customized seo services which are highly key word oriented suiting your needs and requirements. We focus on increasing the amount, quality, and relevance of your website content, and on increasing the popularity of your site by having other sites link to your site.

The more people “in the market” that your message reaches,. So how do you ensure that hundreds, thousands or even tens of thousands of your potential customers come to your website? Website traffic is to use pay-per-click (ppc) services such as google adwords, or yahoo or a host of other pay services. You also need to know what you’re doing or you could find yourself spending lots of money, getting poor results and losing money very quickly.

Also, when you’re first starting out, you have a limited budget, and starting with ppc campaigns may not even be an option for you at this point in time. Free traffic exchanges can be a great way to get traffic to your website. You should also know there’s really no such thing as free because you must spend your time surfing through other websites to earn credits.

Free traffic exchanges are a great way to get lots of visitors to your site however, so spending an hour a day surfing, is not a lot to ask if you’re making sales from your efforts. And isn’t this why your in this business to begin with? Free traffic exchanges are a great marketing tool for a many reasons. The best reason is that you get lots of people looking, and hopefully clicking on your website or promotional pages.

But there are hidden benefits to free traffic exchanges you may not have even considered. Search engines love free traffic exchanges because of all the incoming and outgoing links they generate. Plus the rapidly changing content is another reason the search engines love traffic exchanges. Exchanges that have more content also generate a higher page rank, and therefore more traffic, and increased memberships. Continue reading »

online advertising for your websiteMany website owners are making money using Google’s AdSense code, but there are several who find it a little too wishy washy or simply have issues with using Google all together. Or maybe it just doesn’t live up to their own needs from an advertisement program.

But thankfully for such individuals, there are several alternatives to AdSense which do their best to alleviate some of the stigmatism around Adsense. Here is a listing of the most notable ones from the group with a explanation in relation to each one.

AdHearus.Com

AdHearus is a very feature-packed contextual ad supplier. As with AdSense, advertisements are targeted but it doesn’t end here at all. The ads are extremely flexible, you can choose from text-ads, banners, rectangles, pop-ups, pop-unders or skyscrapers. You can also show your own ads, through rotation, both on your site and on other affiliate sites, which makes AdHearus a hybrid with traditional advertising possibilities. There’s a very thorough on-line real time reporting feature and, as usual with such click programs, starting out is free and it’s a snap.

Affiliatesensor.Com

AffiliateSensor has highly adjustable ad blocks, that you can generate for yourself with an simple to use on-line interface. You also get realtime reporting with clicks-by-domain, page and refferer. There’s integration with Google AdSense as well, through the google_alternate_ad_url so AffiliateSensor can be used as a alternative for Google PSA’s (Public Service Ads). Continue reading »

article marketingSubmitting articles to market your website isn’t brain surgery, but there are a few things you should know that will save you time and impact your success.

Here are 5 principles of a successful article marketing campaign:

PRINCIPLE #1: Submit articles consistently.

If there is one ‘make or break’ key to article marketing success, it is CONSISTENCY.

You don’t have to be technically minded to market your website on the internet–if you will simply write on the topic of your website and submit articles each and every month on an ongoing basis, you will have an advantage over the most SEO savvy website owner who only submits articles intermittently.

Submit articles every month for the lifetime of your website, and you will see results.

PRINCIPLE #2: Quality is paramount.

Here are some elements of a quality article:

=> A quality article is on some aspect of your niche.

=> A quality article is well-written, free of grammar and spelling errors.

=> A quality article is educational and offers helpful information to your target market

=> A quality article is ideally timeless.

You don’t have to be the best writer in the world, but your articles should be thoughtfully written and easy to read. Continue reading »

Google AdwordsThese days Google Adwords is all about the Quality Score. If your advertising campaigns don’t pass Google’s Quality Check - You’re gonna pay!
“Google Stupid Tax” is a special per click price increase Google charges for being incompetent about Adwords. On the other hand, Google appreciates competency as much as it hates incompetency, that’s why Google rewards effective advertising with a per click cost decrease up to 2/3 of the original price.
Here’re some tips to make sure you don’t get hit with the “Google Stupid Tax:”

  1. Google Loves RELEVANT Keywords. Avoid using long tail keywords. They will mess up your ROI, crucify your budget and eliminate any chance for profits by drastically increasing traffic costs.
  2. Google Loves RELEVANT Ads. Avoid tricking the searchers. Google is all about the User’s Search Experience. If you are going to mislead the searcher by placing irrelevant ads - Google is going to hunt you down before you can say “I’ve made a sale!” Continue reading »

FacebookLately, we have been hearing much about online video and the rise of social media communities, but how could these possibly be a threat to search engines?  Yahoo!, MSN, and Google hold the largest share in the online advertising market, but their market share could well be halved if social networks become more popular. With over 65% of internet users now accessing Google to search for goods, services, or just general interest, it would seem like online ads would be best served on the search giant. But beyond this there are other forms of advertising that are starting to knock on the door and give search-based ads a real run for their money.

Some of the more traditional online channels have included banner advertising, classifieds, and directories, where you would create an ad, choose the appropriate channel and simply publish the ad. Search engine Google recognises the need for people to “get what they want” through search and out of this created the paid service Google Adwords, in which people effectively pay to get to the top of Google.

This, although potentially quite expensive depending on your industry keywords, it is a very popular advertising channel, and can yield some great results, if done correctly. This model, which is one of Google’s primary monetising services, tries to make search ads as relevant as possible via its various search algorithms. But with online traffic now moving towards current buzz “social media”, websites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are becoming more and more popular with people starting to publish their material online at a far more frequent rate than ever before. advertising moneyGetting a flood of advertisers is a dream of any owner of a publisher website. But creating a flood of advertisers is not a breeze. Many people have a misconception that if the publisher site has good amount of organic traffic, advertisers will swarm towards them and bid for the keywords. The true fact is that the advertisers will not even notice you if you are not within their reach. This is where the search engine traffic monetizing service providers come into play. This is like a platform for the advertisers and publishers, where the best will be meeting the best. Targeted traffic is what the advertisers will be looking for and targeted advertisers will be what the publishers will be there for. Hence these platforms are the best ones for the publishers hunting for the advertisers.

Getting The Maximum Advertising Revenue

There are countless numbers of search engine traffic monetizing services available out there. You will be well aware that they will be claiming some percentage of your advertising revenue that comes through them. The percentage of deduction depends on the service provider. Some of the very best search engine traffic monetizing service providers like Query Ads will provide the maximum advertising revenue to you. They deduct only 20% of the advertising revenue flowing to your website through them. They actually deserve more than 20% because you will get the best targeted advertisements listed in your website. The best search engine traffic monetizing service providers will manually check and ensure that the ads are targeted before they supply them to you. So you should compare several service providers and make sure that you get the maximum advertising revenue without any compromise to the quality of ads. Continue reading »

twitter logoOne of the hottest topics in the internet marketing world today is Twitter. There are an endless number of tools and applications for Twitter. And countless reports on how to best use Twitter in your online business. Having Twitter followers is like having a sub-list. And, since “the money is in the list,” it’s worth your time to think about how you use Twitter and what kind of people you follow on Twitter.

Until very recently, I didn’t reach out and follow people on Twitter at all. I just followed people I knew. Then I got introduced to Mr. Tweet, and “he” recommended some great people to me. Now almost daily I find great new people to follow.

I basically follow four types of people on Twitter. First, there are those whose posts always make me smile. I like these people, even though I don’t know them outside of Twitter.

Second are those whose posts always give me something valuable or interesting. Usually they link to a blog post or news article.

The third type of person I follow is those who seem to run entire businesses on Twitter. They communicate with everyone. They tweet so often there’s no way they could have time to run a business outside their Twitter connections. Continue reading »

web 2.0As Web 2.0 becomes less of just a buzzword and more of a reality, the types of sites webmasters need to publish will increasingly become more important. In other words, mini-sites are slowly dying and cookie-cutter article sites are on the way out as well. Web surfers will become more value-focused and web companies will become larger.
Over the next few years expect larger conglomerates to be buying up profitable websites in their chosen markets. Expect smaller sites to either be bought or driven out of business. My intention is not to scare you, but this outcome is inevitable.
Large businesses have always taken two approaches to their desired markets. They either buy their competition or they push them out of business. You want to be prepared when this trend begins on the Internet.
Being a webmaster and online marketer, you should be preparing for one of two scenarios. To position yourself for a buyout to a larger company or to become the larger company that dominates your chosen market.
Whichever route you choose is entirely up to you, but I would suggest that it would be in your best interest to begin focusing on authority sites. You can either start building them or turning your current sites into them. Whatever your approach may be, I assure you it will help you sleep better at night. Continue reading »

submit an articleWhen you started your website, you might have thought, “Oh no, I need to have some sort of SEO knowledge to getting a higher rank in Google and get more visitors to my site.”

That’s what many website owners think, but rest easy–you do not need to be a SEO guru to effectively market your website. Any ‘regular’ person who owns a website can propel their site up Google’s rankings by using Article Marketing as their main marketing tool.

Article submissions are easy to do–all you have to do is write articles on the topic of your website and submit them consistently each month for an extended period of time. With each article you submit, you build a backlink to your site, and on top of that you receive an additional link each time a publisher republishes your article from an article directory.

By consistently submitting articles, you are basically setting up a link building machine for your website. An increase in links can garner your site a higher search engine ranking, and an increased search engine ranking for your major keywords can of course build traffic dramatically for the long-term.
